About This Event

The Deliverer: A Basket, A Burning Bush, and A Parted Sea explores the central theme of Scripture and all of history, humanity’s search for deliverance: from Israel’s slavery in Egypt to our own slavery to sin. Filmed on location in Egypt, this six-week series traces the story of Moses in the book of Exodus and brings it to life with video footage. Moses was rescued from a river, called through a burning bush, and used by God to confront Pharaoh and lead Israel through a parted sea over 3,000 years ago. As we watch the Bible come to life, we’ll see how Moses’ leadership points to God as the true and greater Deliverer, still rescuing, restoring, and bringing hope to broken lives today.
